Mousou Dairinin

This show is from the maker of Perfect Blue and Millenium Actress, the script is from the same man who did Boogiepop Phantom.

It’s not your average show, the title of “Paranoia” is really what this show is about.

A young boy on roller blades seems to roll around the city and whack people on the head with a baseball bat, and things don’t seem to be the same after that.

Shounen Bat is back home…

Thank you for uploading this (even though I have the original DVDs from when it was released).
I consider it a good show with some interesting depth if you look beyond the surface; how our reality can become affected by an idea, an autosuggestion, once it is implanted into our subconscious, and to what extent it can affect more than just ourselves but an entire society should it become shared by several more people (even resulting into the phenomena of ‘urban legends’).
Satoshi Kon has a tendency to integrate psychological elements into his stories in a very interesting way! (like he had done with Perfect Blue and Millennium Actress)
