A small class of mages all with poor grades and their individual problems has to win the academy contest by working together. The anime is filled with lots of the usual cliche of anime characters, poses, reactions, facial expressions and bodylanguage. The camera angle often shows closeups of female bodies in the classic anime way, meaning breasts, butts, skirts, … Once the contest is introduced the plot is a dead give away of worry about contest, decision to work together as a team, training. Once the actual contest arrives we know it’s gonna fail spectacular… There are not much showing of the other contestants or students, but lots of magical fighting with strange creatures, so if you REALLY are into magic fights and tentacles, then you can consider watching it if you really have nothing else to do. For everyone else, avoid, abort or anialate the DVD.
