1.01 About.
Welcome to Anime-Sensei, a site that offers you Anime in Realmedia Format uploaded to Free Hosts like MegaUpload and MediaFire.
This site is hosted on Blogger and our Forum is hosted by Silverado from Manga Underground.
We try to keep things as free as possible, but for some things we need to pay (Domain and Shoutbox)
For that we rely on the Donations of you, our visitors.

This Site started back in December 2005 as a Graphics Site by Sensei-kun but just a few weeks later it was closed.
In February 2006 the Site re-opened under the name Anime-Sensei and started hosting Realmedia Anime on Free Hosts.
In July 2006 the site got more visitors and thus new Admins joined the Site.
Since then Anime-Sensei has been growing to what it’s now.

During this time some Admins left or Joined and the Site grew bigger and bigger.
Now it’s 1 of the oldest “Realmedia Anime hosted on Free Hosts” Sites and also 1 of the most known sites.

1.02 Staff.
The Staff Page can be viewed by clicking on the link “Staff” in the Navigation.
Here you can see all the people who are and have been on our Staff and the Contributors.

You can also see our current Staff Members on the Site at the StaffMembers Headline.

The people on the Staff are the ones who run Anime-Sensei and provide you with Updates, so treat them with respect.

1.03 Rules of the Site.
The Rules of the Site are simple, behave yourself and treat the Staff with respect.
You can post comments on Updates and Anime Pages and share your opinion with us.

The only thing we ask of you not to do is to not ruin our hard work (for example to spam on the Site or Report our Files to the Free Host Sites.)

1.04 Realmedia.
Almost all of our Files are in Realmedia Format.
We’ve chosen this Format for it’s small size and easy to play codec.
All you need to have installed to be able to play Realmedia files is either Realplayer or the Real Alternative codec.

Our Files are encoded with either WinAVI or Easy Realmedia Producer.

You don’t need to Request Animes in other Formats since we only upload Realmedia Files.

1.05 Anime Pages.
With v7.0 ~ BLUE SKY all Anime Download Pages have been changed to a newer more Compact Version.
The things that have been changed is:
- the Pages are more Compact
- there’s a “Watch thisSTREAMED” link
- the mirrors, specials, movies, ova’s and more have now been catergorized for easier viewing and downloading.
- the pictures provided on all Anime Pages have been taken down and replaced with links leading to 3 popular Anime Info Sites.
for the rest the pages are pretty much the same.

1.06 Featured Anime.
Every month a new Featured Anime. Here you can see the title, file info, anime status and summary of an Anime.
Usually a Featured Anime is a Popular Anime or an Anime that deserves a highlight.

1.07 Shoutbox & Shoutbox Portable.
In v7.0 ~ BLUE SKY the Shoutbox that always used to be on the top page has moved down a bit.
Thus a new type of Shoutbox has been made, the Shoutbox Portable.
The Shoutbox Portable is a simple Pop-up with in the Pop-up the shoutbox so you can go where ever you want on the net and still post in the Shoutbox.

Our Shoutbox is a Premium Cbox which gives us tons of extra features. The Shoutbox is payed with Donations, so help us by Donating to keep the Shoutbox alive.

The Shoutbox has also a set of Rules. No *Spamming *Requesting.
With Spamming we mean useless posts or harmful posts.
With Requesting we mean requesting Animes. We’ve a Topic on the Forum where you can request, so don’t do it in the Shoutbox.
If you do not follow these 2 simple rules you’ll be banned.

1.08 Donations.
You can help by donating to Anime-Sensei. With your Donations we can use a Domain for the site and pay the Premium Shoutbox.
You can donate to us by clicking on the ChipIn! Widget on the bottom of the site.
That will lead you to Paypal where you find more info about what to do.

1.09 Affiliates.
Since we’ve been around for a long time we’ve gathered quite a long list of Affiliates.
We’ll happily Affiliate you if you pass these requirements:
- You need to have Anime or Manga (or Hentai) on your site and have them up for download.
- Atleast 1 update a week so we know we’re not Affiliating with a dead site.
- NO STOLEN LINKS!! With this we mean Links taken from other Sites without the Permission of the Owner.
If you’ve passed these 3 requirements you can Affiliate with us.

To do so there are 3 ways:

1.10 Helping us.
You can help Anime-Sensei in several ways, a few ways are…
- Donating us so we can keep the Domain and Shoutbox alive.
- Helps us with Uploading by Uploading Animes yourself and Post the Links on the Forum.
- By Advertising us all over the net. it doesn’t need to be much, just a few words are ok.
- By posting on the Forum and Shoutbox to keep them alive.
- And by posting comments on the Site so we know that people are downloading the Animes.

1.11 I’ve seen some of your links on other sites, what to do?
You can first try by solving this by yourself by taking up Contact with the person who Posted the Links and ask of him if he properly wants to Credit Anime-Sensei.
If not you could try taking up contact with an Admin or Moderator of that Site and tell him of the problem.

If even that doesn’t work then leave a message on our Forum or Shoutbox so we can take care of it.
Don’t forget to mention the Site, the Site’s name, the stolen Links and the person who Posted them.

2.0 Files:

2.01 Hosts, Size & Extension.
Every Anime can have a different Host/Size/Extension, but most of the time they’re the same.
With Host you can see the name of the Free Host that we uploaded the Episodes of the Anime to.
With Size you can see the Average File Size of an Episodes of the Anime.
With Extension you can see what type of Format the Episodes have.

These 3 Info’s apply to the Episode Links, the Mirror, Special, OVA, Movie or more can have a different type of Host/Size/Extension.

2.02 How to play our files.
If you want to be sure that you can play our files you can download Realplayer.
Realplayer is the Media Player for the Realmedia Format.

You can also installed the Real Alternative Codec so you can play the Realmedia Files in other Media Players.

Some of our Files can be in other Formats like .AVI/.MKV/.MP4
If this happens and you’re not able to play the Files then you don’t have the right Codecs to play the Files.
For most people CCCP fixes this problem, but not for all.

For those few that CCCP doesn’t help I suggest you to install the following codecs:
- CoreVorbis.
- ffdshow.
- Haali Media Splitter.
- VSFilter.

2.03 Broken Links.
Found a Link(s) that are Broken? Then quickly Report this to us so we can try and fix it.
Report the Broken Link(s) in the forum.
Don’t forget to mention the Anime of the Broken Link(s) and the Episode Numbers that are Broken.

You can get into Contact with us in several ways.
The quickest way is to post in the Shoutbox or on the Forum.
You can also leave a message on an Update Post.

You can also PM one of the StaffMembers of Anime-Sensei on the Forum.

3.02 Joining the Staff.
Want to join the Anime-Sensei Staff? Then there’s 1 thing you must do first.
And that’s to show your worth to us. We won’t just let anyone join the Staff.
To show your worth to us is by helping us Upload Animes (or Manga/Music/E-R) and fix Broken Links.
You need to have done this for 2 Constant Months.

After you’ve cleared that you’ve a few more things to clear. those are…
- A Blogger Account, if you don’t have one you can’t access our Site’s Dashboard.
- A Gmail Account so we can send an invite to your E-mail.
- A Forum Account, without one you couldn’t have helped us.
- A small amount of Basic Html. Things like making Links and Bolding Text.

If you’ve cleared all these things you can PM one of the StaffMembers and they’ll see if you’ve cleared all things to be able to Join the Staff.
